Here's a question, how long do y'all think Fortnite will last in the public eye if it becomes another generic competitive esports game that focused on being "balanced"? And aside from crying too hard about OG map what seasons were memorable to you & what was the broken thing back then? Also now that EMP nades, new sniper, & other vehicle counters are here the cars which are the core theme of this season are now underwhelming. We're now back to generic gun "mythics" meta again.

Change is good in games, when it’s implemented gradually and in a manner that isn’t excessively extreme.

This season was incredibly fun for the one week they had boogie bombs in. It was much more balanced, but without them it’s just chaos again.

People can enjoy things differently I don't think comp is the baseline of "having fun in fortnite" Personally I enjoy being a powerhouse by running and wrecking walls while running at an enemy, I think ranked should have their own stuff and keep away from the casual. "You don't understand fortnite" Understand what about it? Competitive isn't the main experience of the game, I don't think what their idea of fun should be forced into casual.

These takes were so interesting as well as so fried that I find it kinda funny that we have to have such a elaborately stupid discussion about whats good/bad.

I play ranked build, Im pretty decent at building/editing my highest rank was diamond 2 in chapter 5 season 1, and I started playing in chapter 2 season 1. I consider myself very casual, I just play ranked builds because Im tired of bots and am just used to building, but I love this season. I do enjoy this game, build meta or car meta, and it’s been extremely fun even with the broken items. I can love both, to answer your question. But what I don’t love is the hate, we all play this game for some amount of fun, and thats what unites us. I hate that the casual and competitive scenes are becoming more and more hostile to each other, and am scared of the consequences, I think we need to just agree to disagree, instead of being hateful and stupid towards each other.

This season is so bad, they removed cars and fists from tournaments, nerfed the bow, removed the ammo medallion, and they will probably nerf nitro as well. They might as well end this season after FNCS
